Hey Carlos,

My next post goes into a little more detail on this, but in short this global rule does not control whether or not the ECO must be approved before you release a file - just that it is associated with an ECO. The transition criteria you are talking about provides more explicit control of objects lifecycle states based on their associated lifecycle (category) or could even require ECO's only for certain lifecycle changes..

Great post Allan. How is this feature different from adding a criteria in the Lifecycle transition (e.g. Change Order State contains Approved, or Controlled by Change Order is true)? It seems that this new feature is a global control for all lifecycles?
