Autodesk is moving to a single sign-on model for all our cloud products – which includes my favorite: PLM 360 . This will allow you to log in once to your Autodesk account and access lots of different Autodesk websites. How cool to not have to remember so many different passwords (or enter them all into your password tracker of choice).
The PLM 360 Team has put together a few different resources to help you prepare the change – a tutorial for PLM 360 Autodesk ID Authentication and a video on PLM TV all about Preparing for PLM 360 Autodesk ID Authentication.
This change will take place on March 16th if you aren’t currently using your Autodesk ID to access PLM 360 (if you have a trial site – you’re all set!). If you don’t have an Autodesk ID, it’s easy to create one by visiting the Autodesk ID homepage: https://accounts.autodesk.com/. Kinda nice since you’ll be able to use that same ID and password for not just PLM 360, but also Subscription Center (I wrote up a tutorial on using that for reaching our support team!), the Education Community and Product Registration.
