Well, really no names to drop, but you can now drag and drop attachments - even better, right? With the latest release of PLM 360 you can upload attachments to your PLM 360 workspaces by dragging and dropping files to the Attachments tab information pane.
There’s more info on the Wiki about this feature, but here’s some highlights: To upload a file directly to a folder, drag the file to the folder and drop it when the container border turns blue (no, that doesn’t mean your file is cold!).
You can use drag and drop to check in a new version of an attachment, and you can upload multiple files at a time without having to select each file separately. There’s a time saver right there. You can still attach files the "old" way through the tab's ‘Upload’ button.
I really like using folders to organize files, particularly helpful when you lots of attachments in a record.
