Just back from AU2013! A whirlwind week of connecting with a lot of you and I come back bearing tips. We had a few PLM 360 lab classes – one directed to workflow and another for scripting and we’re already talking about the best way to run labs next year.
Today’s tip is for the administrators – I worked with a lab attendee that wanted to know how to delete unused permissions in a workflow. When you bring up the Permissions Summary and select one from the list, you can either double click to edit (if you want to change the name or add a description) or there’s a delete option as well:
This ‘cleaning up’ is important in several other places as well – often as an admin you sandbox new ideas in your tenant or streamline the permissions in a workflow. For things like picklists, scripts, or workflow permissions it’s good to review from time to time the unused ones and remove them if they are not needed.
