PLM 360 now supports mass deletes of workspace items so you no longer need to delete items one by one through the Workspace Page. {Yay! I may or may not have imported records once or twice and gone “oops!”. Nice to have a way to clean up after myself.}
Start a mass delete with an Import Project like you do for an item import, except select Delete from Workspace in the For Matching Records Import Setting instead of Update the Workspace.
A quick way to create an Import Project for a mass delete is to run a report of the items you want to delete, save the report to an Excel file (see Reports), and use the Excel file to create the Import Project. If you want to mass delete items added through an import, start with the same Import Project created for the import but, again, select Delete from Workspace instead. Even though you're using the same Import Project, you don't need to delete all the imported items. When you edit the project, select individual items as needed to delete a single item, some of the items, or all the items. The only restriction is that you can delete items from only one workspace at a time.
To learn more about mass deleting workspace items, see the Wiki information for Mass Delete Items. There’s a cool video to watch as well for you visual learners.
